Oleg is a conductor and soloist with the Russian Army Choir. With the choir he has performed at Singing World, an international festival and competition in St Petersburg.

He also leads a second choir, a men’s choir at the Trinity-St Sergius Primorskaya Hermitage, where he serves as choirmaster.

He studied choral conducting for eleven years at the choir school of the St Petersburg Capella and sat his final state exam on the Capella’s stage. He then graduated from the Rimsky-Korsakov St Petersburg State Conservatory, singing in its Grand Hall while still a student.

Oleg has a low voice, a bass. He is a soloist with the Russian Army Choir and Derzhava (band), and performs on the St Petersburg popular music stage.

He founded and directs the Peter the Great Vocal Ensemble. As an artist of the Vysokaya Nota (High Note) foundation he appears with Concept Orchestra: in the programme Melodii dlya Dushi (Melodies for the Soul) he sang My Way and Strangers in the Night.

Viewers of Soyuz TV have heard him sing the romance Gori, Gori, Moya Zvezda (Shine, Shine, My Star).

His repertoire takes in wartime and folk songs, popular songs in the tradition of Leonid Utyosov, Mark Bernes and Eduard Khil, and, since 2025, jazz.

With the Russian Army Choir and Derzhava, Oleg performs in St Petersburg and on tour across Russia.

For Victory Day he often travels to other regions to sing wartime songs. He has sung in Muravlenko, Salekhard and other northern towns, and in 2026 he performed with Derzhava in Aldan.
